Our last week of Summer

When we arrived home, we realized we had just one week before school started. For the most part, we just stayed at home, allowing me to get over the crazy jet lag. Toward the end of the week; however, Chris's mom convinced us to get out to pick some of the last sandplums. We headed down to the river and started picking.

It was getting hot, even early that morning, so we had to take some breaks!
We sorted them out and let them start ripening. We had a lot of sandplums! Then, this week, Chris's mom came over to help us can the juice and make jelly! It took most of the day, but we ended up with a bounty!
