Gram's House

Then it was off to Gram's house.

After lunch, we headed to the zoo. They loved the tiger.
The zoo was so nice! I was impressed.

It was the perfect day to go since it was so mild.

After the zoo, we went to the house to run in the sprinkler.

Kids just don't mind being cold!

Then, we ordered pizza and vegged out with a movie!

Papa's Farm

I decided to take the kids out to western Kansas for a few days.

The kids had a great time roaming the land!

They rode the combine. . .

. . . built forts. . .

. . . chopped wood. . .

. . . became animal lovers. . .

. . . rode the go-cart. . .

(This is what we are going to call "farm skiing"!)

. . . scared the cows away. . .

. . . and just had a great time being dirty, smelly and cold!

Notice the oversized t-shirts. Who would have thought that western Kansas in June

would be 60-70 degrees?! These were our make-shift jackets. :)

Swimming Lessons!

For two weeks, we've been going to swimming lessons.

It has been so fun. It's the first year I haven't had to deal with tears!

Summer Chores

It's always more fun to clean someone else's house, right?
I don't even have to ask the kids.

Taking Shape!

After waiting for a good month, work has resumed.

Last week was exciting to see the house start to take shape.

Washing the Car

The other day, Sydney wanted to surprise Daddy by washing the van for him.

You can see Jackson in the background "washing the van" with his water gun. I think more bugs got shot at than dirty spots! Oh well. We had a lot of fun!
