Today, we saw that they had put the tar on the outside walls.

More Progress

We were excited to see the basement walls going up.

Jackson was glad to know that we won't be moving into a "dirt house".

Circus

Chris took Jackson and Raegan to the circus with Rusty and his kids. They had a fun time watching the trapeze and the tigers. Unfortunately, there were many opportunities for these dads to say, "No", but they stayed strong and taught these kiddos that the treat was just in going!

The other day, Jackson surprised me with this spectacular lunch he had created all by himself.

Tea Party

Flower Girls, our girls club at church, had a tea party at a real tea house. It was fabulous! The girls all got to pick out a hat, and full tea was served. Gram and I also received the privilege to join in. It was very "Girly Fun"! (If you know Sydney, she was in heaven.)

It Begins. . .

As I drove past our neighborhood today, I thought I saw some big machines. Sure enough, they have started digging our basement! It's exciting to know that this is really happening.

We're Moving!

This is just a quick update. My brother and sis-in-law, Adam and Becky, are buying our house April 30! We're moving out May 3. God has provided for us abundantly; we will be moving into Chris's grandma's house for five months until our house is completed. Yes, we are building a new house. It is about 1 1/2 miles from Goddard, so we will finally be closer to work and schools. It is scheduled to be done at the end of September; however, they haven't started yet, so we'll see!

I've been swamped with teaching and now packing, so this is all I have until I can get some pictures loaded. I'll update more soon!
